Keizer Clear Lake United Methodist Church is a family of caring Christians who want our bright lights of faith to shine in this community. We are a welcoming and relaxed community of believers, open to all who want to learn more about the life of Jesus.

About Our Pastor

Pastor Dave Childress came to Clear Lake Church in July of 2005. Ministry is a second career for Pastor Dave. He heard his call to ministry loud and clear while employed at Enron in Southern California in the 1990s. He entered seminary at age 43, and three years later received his appointment to serve here in the beautiful Keizer/Clear Lake area. Dave, his wife Jenny and their two daughters made to Oregon, and have rapidly became part of the Keizer community.

God has given Dave a heart for making disciples for Christ, and he delivers a thought-filled, relevant, and scripture-based message each Sunday. If you are unable to attend a worship service you may listen to many of Pastor Dave's sermons through our "KCLUMC Audio Online" feature (above). The "Dancing Cross"

In 1966 the present sanctuary was raised and the colorful "Dancing Cross" was installed above the altar in our sanctuary.. The cross became a uniting symbol for our congregation.
